STROMI’s educational trail for children

STROMI’S nature and technology trail invites you and your children to take an easy hike along the Mooserboden dam. Accompanied by our mascot STROMI, visitors of all ages can learn more about nature, technology, and hydropower in a fun-filled way at six adventure stations. The children’s educational trail is also suitable for even our smallest visitors due to its length (approx. 1 km long, walking time approx. 30 minutes including stations) and the trail conditions, which are suitable for pushchairs.

Children are given a booklet about the children’s trail at the ticket office. There is one question to be solved at each station. If all the questions are answered correctly, they will receive a small surprise from the info point at the Mooserboden kiosk.

A great, free programme for the whole family: Games tent, bouncy castle, painting station, climbing tower, the Flying Fox, guided tours at MOBO 107, go-karts and much more. Knowledge about nature, technology, hydropower and electricity generation is also communicated in a super simple way.

Guided tours for children on the Mooserboden

Immerse yourself in an exciting adventure for the whole family! During the children’s tours at Mooserboden reservoir, our young visitors will experience the fascinating world of energy generation together with experienced guides.

The special combination of adventure and discovery gives children a fun way to learn what a glacier is, how hydroelectricity is generated, and to explore the inside of the 107-metre-high Mooser dam. Look forward to an unforgettable day surrounded by breathtaking mountains, which will not only make children’s eyes light up!

Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday in July and August

Prices: Children aged up to 15 and one accompanying adult free of charge. Every extra person €7.00

Flying fox

The dream of flying between the Höhenburg lookout point and the Mooser dam: This spectacular attraction offers all ages an unforgettable flight surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and sparkling water. Secured by an experienced team, you glide to the destination on a stable wire cable. Adventure seekers can expect sensational views, action, fun and an exhilarating feeling. Advance registration is not required for the flying fox. So stop by and try it out!

We look at a photo taken directly above a hearty breakfast table. We see plates with sausage, cheese, bread rolls, croissants, coffee, vegetables, eggs and yoghurt.
