Mooserboden mountain restaurant

Visit us at the Mooserboden mountain restaurant, right next to the Mooserboden reservoir. At 2,040 m above sea level, the panoramic terrace offers an unforgettable view and a classic selection of food and drinks. In addition to Wiener Schnitzel and Kaspresskmödel, you will also find delicious apple strudel on the menu.

The friendly team will ensure you have a great experience and can recharge your batteries for your trip. Inside, there is also plenty of room for group and club excursions.

Mooserboden kiosk and Höhenburg

Mooserboden kiosk, right next to the mountain restaurant, and Höhenburg viewing terrace between the two dams, both offer cosy seating for a sunny break. They sell snacks such as sausages and pretzels as well as chilled and hot drinks to take away. A beautiful assortment of souvenirs and postcards will complete your trip to the Kaprun high mountain reservoirs.

We see the Mooserboden kiosk opposite the Wiesenfeld. The kiosk is a ground-level pavilion with a glass front and wooden tables and benches in front of it. The umbrellas are still closed. There are two dining tables in front of it.

Klammseestüberl

A hike around Lake Klammsee and then a relaxing stop for refreshments is an absolute must in Kaprun. Klammseestüberl, located not far from the popular Sigmund Thun gorge exit, offers a peaceful area to relax in, and an inviting terrace to while away a few pleasant hours. After an invigorating walk through the gorge, you can top up your energy levels with fresh food and drinks while your children let off steam undisturbed at the neighbouring playground.
