Events and attractions such as the VERBUND children’s festival, guided via ferrata tours, the summer programme with weekly children’s tours, and the flying fox for children and adults promise fun and exceptional experiences in the high mountains. Sports highlights such as the Großglockner Ultra Trail in July attract running enthusiasts from all over the world to Kaprun.

There’s plenty to experience around the Kaprun high mountain reservoirs during the summer months. From a flying fox trip, special children’s tours, the Ultra Trail and thrilling via ferrata tours, you can experience a lot around the Kaprun high mountain reservoirs in summer. On the first Sunday of August, the Mooserboden belongs to our young guests at the children’s festival. Be enchanted by the unique atmosphere and warm charm of this captivating place!

Kaprun high mountain reservoirs

Experience the ultra trail up close and personal when the runners reach Mooserboden reservoir at 2,040 m altitude and then continue on to the finish line in Kaprun. The starting signal for the GWT 35 is at 8:00 a.m. at the Weisse Gletscherwelt bottom station. The first athletes will arrive on the dam walls in Kaprun from 10:00 a.m. Be there!

A great, free programme for the whole family: Games tent, bouncy castle, painting station, climbing tower, the Flying Fox, guided tours at MOBO 107, go-karts and much more. Knowledge about nature, technology, hydropower and electricity generation is also communicated in a super simple way.

Free admission for children (aged up to 15)!

Adults and children aged 16 and over pay the normal price.
